Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the Mistfire Wolf came with the GW2 Digital Deluxe version of the game?

Was your account upgraded to Digital deluxe?
Edit: the ultimate is your base account with the new expansion. It doesn’t upgrade the base account to digital deluxe.

well use 2k of the gems in the gem store and you can upgrade the base game to digital deluxe ( imo the skill aint worth it tho )

It’s not worth it. I don’t think I used it more than once or twice just to see what it would do. Your regular elites are better.

Technically it’s an elite, a mini, and a few semi-worthless consumables, a good consumable given to every new character (golem banker – lasts 2 weeks after first use, soulbound though), and a good-for-starters trinket given to every new character (celestial rare no-level-requirement ring, good for first 20 or so levels).
But I don’t get why buying the Ultimate pre-purchase edition didn’t give you Deluxe. Perhaps you should consult support?

There is minimal utility of that elite skill anyways. Only time i found a use for it was in fractals; to toss some AoE on a boss encounter (some cases rez banner fails because of agony).

Why should ultimate hot give digital deluxe base game?
Not like warlords of draenor collectors bump up a battle chest with normal editions to all collectors
