Hit a wall with scribing around level 150. Seems like they may have forgotten to add quite a few scribing mats to the game or many of us simply cannot find them.

Has anyone seen any of the following item?:

• Bags of Mortar

They are either not currently in game, or behind some sort of strange unlock that no one has figured out the combination to yet.

Maybe it’s a sign of another map not yet released. ^^

Might be raid related.

Bolt of Embroidered Silk is a crafted item. It is possible that no one has crafted it yet for the TP, or it is account bound and you need a toon with Tailor to craft it.

Resonating Fragment is meant as a level 75 Scribe item.
It would be crazy if you need to run the “get ascended or go home” content to get a recipe for that low if an item. There are 2 more tear of the Resonating items (Core lvl 225 and Lodestone lvl 400). The description of each of the missing ones describes it being made from the the one step lower “Resonating Fragment Crafted from Resonating Slivers by scribes”
Currently unlike the other Slivers in game the Resonating Slivers do not double click to promote. (also don’t show up in the discovery tab or the Mystic Forge)
It would be nice to hear an official word on at least the Resonating items since they are needed to make Blotting Powder part of the Scribing Kit for each grouping.

Just found some tubs of wood glue for sale on the TP… for 10+ gold a piece. Must be raid related cause they have been nonexistent until now.

Anyone have a better clue? Cause that price is ridiculous, and I refuse to pay it if I can help it.

People are saying the Embroidered Silk (and possibly tubs of glue) come from the lvl 4 guild trader at the guild market, but I cant confirm that.

The Bags of Mortar says purchasable from the merchant at the scribe station, but he doesn’t sell them.

Scribing seems to have some real problems.

Can confirm that glue and embroidered silk come from trader 4 – our guild recently got that upgrade. However, we still have never seen bags of mortar.

The question is almost answered – just need to find out about Bags of Mortar.

This has been an active question for almost a month – longer if you count the other threads.

This single item is holding back guild decoration progress and hindering our ability to level scribes.

It seems like Anet would have at least let us know if the item is even in the game at this point. A lot of hours are being wasted looking for this stuff.
