So as I played HoT and unlocked one Mistward part after another there was something that catched my eye. Right after unlocking the achievement for the Mistward parts they became soulbound.

I have four items now that are soulbound to a character that’s not able to use heavy gear and a Revenant that would have used the equipment.

I’d request that those items get changed to be at least soulbound on equip. So one isn’t forced to play the addon with a heavy armor class right from the beginning.

I agree it’s weird that it’s Soulbound, but at the very least, if you are aware of it, you can make absolute certain that your Revenant gets the pieces, as there are a couple “purchase this item” criteria for them all. At least it’s not possible to get them accidentally. Still, very weird that they are Soulbound like that.

This is like the 5th or 6th time I’ve seen this exact thread of people complainingg they got the mistward armor on the wrong class.

It kind of surprises me that any class but revenant can actually get it, because it’s sort of like their themed armor.

In any case, yeah it sucks that happened but the skin is transmutable so there is that at least.

The search function doesn’t really work, and its third party software that is no longer supported, so they can’t really do anything to fix it either without completely replacing the forum software or digging into the code. Which would take time. I think they’re better served by working on the game lol
