I’m really eager to get the Mistward Weapon set, where have these awesome skins gone?

When are we going to get them?

Did you really think you will get to earn another set of weapons without a credit card?

I’ll be honest, I enjoy the expansion but if you expect them to release skins through ingame means… keep dreaming. During the very first weeks of HoT launch we’ve seen more gemstore related skins added to the game than the whole expansion contains… It’s very annoying in my opinion. They want people to pay quite a sum for an expansion and then decide to release day-1 BLC weapon sets, well sure. I expected one, but not three in the first few weeks. But before this turns into a giant rant, they should definetely add more ingame rewards. Currently there aren’t even any gliders to be earned ingame (Exalted glider for example should have been a Tarir reward for Aurillium or as a drop imo).

Yup, thats what I’m expecting, pretty much any new weapon set is put in the gemstore. We had what, 8? (SAB, recovered, auric, chak, machined, sovereign, and wintersday, and teq/ascended?) set obtainable in game added, with how many other being in the gemstore (26 if wiki page is correct) ?

Was there a complete set of these in the beta?
Bc if not, gemstore would atleast give me hope there is also gonna be a bow in that style.

They’re on the back of the physical retail copy. False advertising at it’s finest right there.

What happened ANet? Was a whole set planned and then you just dropped it or what? Why aren’t they there? Please don’t tell me it’s part of the next raid wing.

I doubt they are raid weapons. They are too nice to be earned in game. Soon tm in gemstore.

There were only Mace, Axe and Hammer in beta.

It’s embarrassing as a player of the game when I try to explain this to my non GW gaming friends.

I know I’m parroting someone here, but I’m really sick of seeing all this stuff being added to the gemstore every other week, meanwhile HoT is severely lacking content and priced at $50. What is the point of playing an MMO without a monthly fee when you can’t even customize your character to your liking through playing the game itself… And don’t give me the “you can buy gems with gold” reply, acquiring currency in this game is probably the hardest out of any MMO i’ve played.

I spent about 5 mins when I was logged in the other day and zoomed out on the World Map and kinda glanced over it for a bit… 3 years later and almost half of the world map is still inaccessible. Was this by design? did they intend to create a game with an already thought out world, just didn’t bother putting the effort in to create the zones? I look at the 3 maps in HoT (the 4th doesn’t count, you can’t even get to DS without completing a meta event on a timer) and can’t help but think how they thought this would be enough to put their stamp of approval on for kitten retail price. I’ll go back to FFXIV and get my money’s worth in the meantime.

I wonder why they don’t just add new armor skins and outfits as rewards to the content.

Oh wait, why do that when you can just get more money?

yeah they don’t want to waste development time giving their player base that spent $50 on their content lacking “expansion” the ability to earn items for their character when they can charge $10 for it on the gem store.

Uhm… The point is to play the game and have fun while doing so O_o If the only thing that makes this game fun for you is the fashion then yer probably gonna go through burn-out symptoms pretty regularly.

It’s either one of the following:

a) “Soon.”
b) “New in the Gem Store!”
c) “Unlock W, X & Y Collections gated behind Mastery Over 9000 to unlock Collection Z.”
d) All of the above.

All jokes aside, yeah. I want these Mistward Weapons. I remember seeing the axe looking thing and thinking I need that. That would make me play a class that uses axes. Heck yeah.
