Why is this soulbound instead of account bound? Have been unlocking this with my Ranger, now its just useless gear that I cant use anywhere…

Account bound would be good and really, what would it hurt?

Can’t you just salvage it to add it to your wardrobe collection?

as it soulbinds automatically, it’s added to wardrobe without even needing to salvage.
I think OP is (justly) lamenting the loss of a full suit of free stat selectable exotics.

Yeah, making it Account bound by nature and soulbound by use would have been the better choice. Did half of it on my Necro, so I can literally throw it away instead of using it on my Rev…

I don’t wan’t to salvage it I wan’t to be able to use it in one of my heavy characters.

I’m sad to say I fell for this as well, now I have several pieces of armor soulbound to a character that doesn’t need them. Sigh. I wish my revenant could use them

While I agree it would be nice if it was account bound, I would like to point out that it’s not all that hard to get an exotic set of gear with the right stats (except Wanderer) and just slap the skin to it.
