How will the purchase of mystic forge materials be handled in HoT once skill points are no longer a thing?

You’ll skill be getting skill scrolls by truckload I imagine.

Gold, tokens, lauers whatever… Dont worry, they will think about something :P

Yeah I saw the quote, and while I’m sure those words mean something to someone with the proper contextual background, they didn’t really answer the question for me.

Basically skill points will no longer be used to buy item from Miyani. You’ll now be able to earn the items in game instead of buying them, it would appear.

Mystic forge crafting materials will replace skill points as awards for everything that currently awards skill points, except gaining levels and doing skill challenges (the skill point icon events on your map).

You get the materials directly instead of buying them.

So I should stock up on augur stone’s so I don’t have to get them by chance or behind some time wall?

Hopefully this makes crafting sup siege a little easier. It’s still kind of crappy, but not needing a skill point for every piece of it will be a blessing :P

I’m guessing we won’t be able to choose which materials though. I’m a little concerned because I have about 1000 skill point scrolls saved up for buying things from Miyani etc. Would it be a good idea to use all of them and predict some things to buy before this releases? I would hate for example for to get 1000 Obsidian Shards when this comes around.
