Guild Wars 2

In the new twitch streams about guild week it was mentioned a ton of new permissions available for the upcoming expansion. However, i do feel concerned about the lack of guild ranks to distribute all the permissions among the members.

Currently with a medium sized guild roster it is quite easy to manage but as we grow we wouod like to assign duties to certain ranks. My guild has 4 management ranks (leader, co lead, officer and advisor). 4 lower ranks for feel of progression within the guild (trial, squire, knight and legend) this leaves us two ranks. With new expansion we would like to add fractal mentor and raid leader. These two ranks will have people focusing on their respective masteries and groups.

It would be great to have an architect rank, pvp sqadrons and farm specialists who could run events to gather materials for the guild. It would be great if Anet considers adding guild ranks compared with the current guild strength so we do not compromise on the feel of progression and remain with just 2 active ranks and not knowing whom to apporach for raids or pvp or fractal content.

Great idea! With the addition of a ton of new permissions, so the rank system should increase to help us deal with these permissions.

I thought they also said on the stream they were upping the number of ranks. I seem to remember hearing that on I think day 2 or 3.

oh well the expansion dropped on us but still no extra rank slots… so we are stuck with 10 ranks for good with about 30 permissions to divide
