Just wondering.

There is a lot of space down in the last spec slot when you click the hexagon to change specs.

Plus, there are a TON of skill points I need to use.

So the Devs have announced………..

I suppose time will tell.

Its one at the release of expansion but I’m guessing both Elite specs and masteries can be added with live update (LS, Feature Packs, etc)

They’ve basically all but confirmed (if not confirmed outright) that there will be more elite specs for each profession. But not with HoT. Everyone gets one to start, then they’re going to expand the system in the future. One of the big selling points of HoT is that its setting a lot of groundwork for the future, and elite specs are one of those things.

Electro pretty much nailed it on the point, HoT is basically not so much an expansion (though it still is) but more like scaffolding, it’s setting the basemark for what future updates/content patces/expansions will bring.

I believe very early on when HoT had not long been announced, we were told that they were planning to release Specializations as a way of keeping the game fresh and opening up playstyles for players, as an alternative to constantly having to bring in new weapon types.

they have mentioned before that you can only use one elite spec at a time which implies that they are planning for multiples. When/how these will be added is subject to speculation.
