Guild Wars 2

OK, so this is completely an issue steeped in my OCD but the one thing I LOVE in GW2 over GW1 is that the maps touch, leaving relatively very little of the map that is explorable as blurry and unreachable. In GW1, while the maps were gorgeous in their own right, there was so much blur on the map that I could never get to and it drove my OCD crazy.

My one and only fear for HoT is that if the entire Maguuma Wastes and Maguuma Jungle isn’t made more or less fully explorable (a.k.a. very few blurry unreachable spots) I will be a truly sad OCD ridden panda :’-(

I know HoT isn’t gonna be zone heavy, but heck even if we only get like 5 or 6 zones, and those zones span the entirety of the Wastes AND Jungle then I will be a happy camper.

Am I the only one who thinks this way with new maps?

I think you will be most surprised on where exactly one can reach and explore.

My only fear is that this so called HOT game is only the living story 3 disguised as anexpansion and shoved down our trought at the same price as a full expansion.

I know now it has a character slot but I don’t need one and I don’t consider Guild Halls a s maps. They are only digital stuff I don’t need.

Keep in mind that purchasing HoT will not only give you the content coming with the expansion, but also all the “free” content coming post-expansion. A-net announced that those who do not purchase HoT will be unable to continue receiving content updates after HoT hits (or at the very least story updates, I can’t remember exactly what).
