Specializations
Were they fun?
I play a necro and I really enjoy the reaper. I wish the greatsword skill range would be increased by a little tho (this is a large weapon, not a dagger).
Did they Change how you play your profession in a meaningful way?
You added more utility skills but did not increase the number of slots on the skill bar. So I find myself using the same skills over and over instead of trying the news shouts. A second side skill bar option would be great.
How were the improvements to the previous Specializations? (Dragon Hunter, Tempest, Chronomancer, Reaper)
Death’s charge is definitely better now.
Feedback on new specializations, as well as any changes to the old
Please give the all the classes a reason to be invited/desirable in raids. I want groups/guilds to actually need a necros for the content (not required but at least viable).
Creatures
How is the difficulty of the new hostile mobs, and are they fun and exciting?
I found the difficulty to be just right. The creatures hit hard. Continue to improve their AI and it’ll be really fun and challenging.
World
With the Opening of two new outposts, we are adding in a bunch of new events. Are they fun?
Are the new events challenging, meaningful, and interesting?
I think they’re ok. Neutral feeling.
Do the new events bring you more into the world?
I had higher expectations for the night time. I wanted the screen to go darker, mobs to become super deadly. I wanted to fear being alone in the jungle !! But it just felt…as nothing special was happening. :/
Mastery System
How is the progression?
I think the UI is a bit confusing (the fact that you gain mastery pts but cannot actually use them before filling the “xp” bar.
How is it using the mastery abilities in the current area?
I totally enjoyed gliding !
Is the mastery system providing a meaningful area of progression?
Yes totally.
Do you care about experience and mastery points?
Absolutely. And achievements too.
Does it provide a good framework to add more masteries in the future?
Yes I hope you add more tracks in the future. In the old maps too.
Do you want to learn as many masteries over time to overcome challenges later in the future?
Yes since they might be the key for successful raids.

Feedback on Stronghold itself
I played a couple of games but to be honest, I’m still kinda lost in all the new stuff there. Maybe a training ground specific for the new stuff would be nice (strategies, etc.).
Solo
I like the group content like events, dungeons, raids, guilds, etc. but what I enjoy the most is solo play/achievement progression/map completion/etc.
I would love to see group content to be doable solo or duo. Of course the reward would be a lot less interesting (ex. being able to complete a fractal solo = 1 token. 10 tokens = 1 fractal relic).
Another thing that would be totally awesome would be to be able to fill your party with NPCs (being able to choose their class too).
Previous events
On a side’s note, I would really like to be able to replay season 1 (buy with gems), gain my missing achievements, replay the marionette, Scarlet’s tower, the Quenne’s gauntlet, Super Adventure Box, etc.
I play GW2 since day 1. Keep up the good work, the new maps look incredible, I can’t wait to play HoT for real. Thank you !
