Hey guys,

With the news and complaint that current players are saying running dungeons arent worth it anymore.

For us new recent Gw2 players, does that mean we will never experience or be very hard to find late game dungeon groups now? Ive only saw first 3 dungeons and done few paths on explore mode.

Do i just forget dungeons exist at this point in the game and quickly level more characters, race to elite spec / mastery grinding before everyone else gets there and no one will be at the areas again.

By buying the expansion a week after playing GW2 2 weeks ago, i thought the new expansion can only bring more content ….

Seems like i put out money to trade existing dungeon content for new content of hero point grinding which really doesnt sound to fun.

Right now, feels like a disappointment if true.

you have to understand that literally everything in this game is designed in a way to keep players from making gold. You don´t earn any gold by playing the game.

Dungeons give a tiny bit of gold —-> nerf

Trick or treat farming gives a tiny bit of gold —-> nerf

Next thing that will be nerfed is the Silverwastes.

By nerfing all possible ways to get gold people are forced to spend real money on the gem store instead. That´s how Anet makes their money. It sucks and I truly believe GW2 would be a better game if it had a subscription fee.

Any guild worth it’s time will help you through a dungeon.The fact it’s not the cash cow it was doesn’t change much for new players as they have not been pug friendly for a long time.

Also they still give out tokens so some people will still be doing dungeons.

I havent played dungeons since release of expac but I noticed one of my Guildmates seems to have played atleast 2 dungeons (Ascalon Catacombs and Arah) yesterday allready and he has HoT. I don’t think dungeons are dead I think that ‘LFG 80 Exp RushNoSTop’ parties will be less.
