I personally love the look of the Nevermore staff, but I couldn’t help but notice that since the other two legendaries can potentially be dual-wielded the you can get the special arm effect on both arms. I think that Nevermore, being a two-handed weapon which can only be equipped one at a time, should apply its arm effect to both arms.

I want double bird arms.

I dunno, I think I like the asymmetry in this case.

I prefer the asymmetrical version and I don’t think anet will give an option to select between the symmetrical and asymmetrical arm effect. Please keep the original.

Yeah, the asymetrical version is better, since you’re only actually holding the staff with one arm.

Only with one, you say?

I think staff being a two-hand weapon is strange because logically you can hold most staffs with one hand because the weight is not heavy, and when you cast, you usually only use one hand.

Many wizards can hold an additional focus or knife while holding a staff in most movies and comic :P

I can see the argument for both sides. Personally I have always seen the arm effect as a bit of " the weapon’s power flows into you, shaping itself onto your arm" kind of thing. As such, it always made sense for it to be one arm even for two-handed weapons.

I think the best solution would be if they managed to make it so whatever body part touches the legendary is covered. E.g., when an ashes places their greatsword on their shoulder while running, the shoulder takes on the effect. But I think that’su nreasonahle. Still if they can make it a case of “left arm affected only when holding” then that’s the way to go.

But I wonder… How will the situation be when wearing legendary gloves?

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

But I wonder… How will the situation be when wearing legendary gloves?

this brings up another question, will legendary armor, when worn as a complete set, have footfalls and other effects, and if so which will take precedence when also wielding a legendary weapon, the effects of the armor or the weapon? Ideally we would see a equal parts blending of effects but that seems slightly unreasonable to ask at this point, though I am more than happy to be pleasantly surprised
