Hi fellas!

After the hype for the new borderlands map I’d like to ask ANET and the whole community your opinion about more Guild driven keeps/towers.

It seems like now defending will be even more easy and meaningful so why not give pride to the guild owning the keep/tower? Like huge visible banners? Some guild buffs and rewards? Unique WvW guild missions startable from the keep/tower?
we got guild inprovements in pve with halls, pvp with guild leaderboards, why not in wvw?

Guilds can already claim structures – which displays the banner – and spend Influence to provide bonuses for players.

Yep i know. I just would like something more. Something meaningful to keep THAT tower/keep. Something unlocked when you own the keep for, dunno 1day, maybe tracks with huge guild rewards for every day to protect a keep. Also the banner atm are really small imho!

I’ve seen this idea before but what’s gonna happen is you’ll have pve guilds waypoint in the claim a keep as fast as possible n then disappear from wvw leaving wvwers to defend the keep because the objective is important while the pve guild doing nothing gets the rewards. Also they probably won’t have any of the fort buffs running.

Well ofc the rewards should be WvW centric so this shouldnt happen
