Lets start a thread where we can talk about the new legendary crafting coming tomorrow and what will be needed.
So far for Gift of Maguma Mastery you’ll need
*Bloodstone Shard
* Gift a Maguma; aka map comp
*250 crystalline ingots
* Gift of Insight

Any word on what/where you get gifts of insight from?

Haven’t seen these anywhere…

Also do you only get 1 gift of maguuma from the map completion? It would really suck to have to do map completion for every single legendary…

Think they have something to do in the outposts system i think they’re also used in armor crafting. And im not sure ive been getting the map comp bug so ill have to wait and see how many gifts you get

Why do I have to do a level 25 fractal and watch npc’s die? Map completion was removed due to whinning on the WvW side. Why is there no WvW requirements on these new ones? I did the few pve ones and stopped dead when I saw the fractal ones. Anyway, moving on…

Edit: I think the requirement should be absurd too, like "Level your guild hall to maximum in the WvW line, capture and hold SMC to T3 and you with 50 guild members pull the “Tactivator” to launch the Airship!!!

What do you want to use as the “cost”

I’m 99% sure that during the initial rush, the total material cost will exceed 5000g.

However 6 months from now I am also 99% sure it will be less than 3000g

Or we could measure it in hours. Old legendary weapons took ~200 hours to make if you were farming things. I suspect 300+ for the new ones.

I know the 250 crystalline ingots took me about 50 hours alone.

I am really curious what Gift of Insights will consist of. Mystic tribute will probably still use mystic clovers and a mix of old t6 materials and the new ones. I don’t believe that we will get new materials tomorrow. Dunno.

So far it’ll be 180g for globs and the icy runes if they’re used againt. A pretty big price Ive seen so far is the Amaglated gemstones currently costing 400g but Im sure thatll may even triple for a few weeks. The gift of lnsight im guessing will be 500-1000g but thats just random and finally precursor crafting which could end up costing a bit. My guess it will end up costing 2500-3500g but remember a net has incentive the more gameplay aspect and will probably take actual game paying rather than gold.

For Astralaria, here’s most of all you’ll need (visual list of components):
The (3) question marks at the top symbolize the precursor that has yet to be discovered, and 2 other components/gifts undiscovered (mapped out using the wiki).
