Hello,

So HoT will have new legendaries. This is great news. There will also be precursor hunts from what I gather – more great news. But do we know what the recipe content of the new legendaries will be?
Right now I’m sitting on half a legendary (yet to decide on which legendary so have yet to go for the precursor / specific gift).
Will these gifts be useable on new legendaries?
Will the precursor hunt extend to existing legendaries?

What does everyone think the new legendaries should have for their recipes and do you think it should be the same as it is now or more skill based?

I have no idea. No news as far as I’m aware of, whether we’ll be using same ‘gifts’ or whether we’ll be looking for new ones.

I have 2 gifts of exploration and 1 gift of mastery sitting in my bank anyway, but I’m not going to spend my arah tokens on a gift of zhaitan or anything anytime soon because I just don’t know how this will all turn out.

I think to some extent we’ll still require t6 mats (the ones we have access to atm), but I figure we’ll require a lot of the newer items that I’m assuming we’ll only find in the new areas of the maguuma jungle, so that’s why I’m not really bothering with the t6 mats atm and instead, selling em off and keeping my gold.

There was an interview with Colin after Pax where he said: You are able to get every precursor once per account (Can’t find the specific interview atm)

So I assume every precursor will have their own collection and we have no clue yet how hard or time-consuming they’ll be. Also considering all the extra mats and map completions (if they keep the recipe mostly the same) it’ll still be very hard to get all the legendaries.

There are no informations on this yet, but we were informed that the crafting systems will not go through any changes that weren’t announced already, so i wouldn’t expect any major deviations from the recipes. Most likely the only things that will change will be the precursors (the new ones will be available only through collections, from what i understood), and legendary-specific gifts. Other gifts should remain the same.

I’m just guessing, though. Maybe they will reveal this in the next several weeks.
