Sigil of Absorption, Draining, the might one, the vuln one
Rune of Surging, Thorn, Durability, and uh…that last one

When will they be made buyable/sellable on tp? I’m not asking just for marketing in tp purposes (which is nice) but also because this is another game changer kind of thing that makes me wonder whats with the strict pay wall going on?

Why is this worrying? Mesmer (base) is far more potent with those sigils, many standard builds would enjoy Durability, more examples and such. I don’t feel like making a wall of text, but does anyone else wonder why these can’t be made available in some manner to core game players who don’t own HoT? Perhaps buy/sell on trading post or have some kind of vendor in Lion’s Arch? Just thinking, wondering if you guys saw it or if I’m nuts.

There is an overarcing theme in hoT pve that states, basically, that the trading post shouldn’t be the most efficient path to gaining everything in the game, and that because GW2’s PvE progression is horizontal rather than vertical that putting play barriers between you and the stuff you want actually incentivizes you to play content to get rewards.

Overall, I think its a better system. You can get a functional build through the TP, but if you want certain specific things, in some cases, you have to go out and play the game for them.

What they need to do is make those pieces also acquirable for WvW badges so people who just want to WvW can acquire them without going to PvE.. or hey, finally split WvW from PvE altogether like they should have done a long time ago.

I just wish you could buy a recipe to craft them, instead of throwing insane amounts of map specific tokens to buy a full set or runes. Most of them I have no use for, but even the runes sigils that look interesting enough, would take a few days of grinding a map’s events to get a full set.

They will likely never be on the TP, and likely by design. Expansions have exclusive content, that’s just the way it is, and the sigils and runes are part of the exclusive content in HoT.
