Will there be new spec info this thursday or are they taking a break becuase of beta?

I do not think that a team that works on beta works on specialisation previews. I could be wrong. We can hope

Considering it was both beta week and we didn’t get a leaked pic yet, I doubt we’ll be getting a specialization. We won’t really know what they will talk about until a blog post tomorrow, and it could be something as simple as discussing the beta and giving highlights to all those that weren’t in it and who don’t read the forums/watch youtube/twitch streams.

Yeah, my guess is that the new specialization will be unveiled next week. (Coincidentally, I heard that it will be Thief).

So, we’ll probably see Rifle-Thief next week.

Erhm… The professions listed before the banner image:

• Mesmer
• Guardian
• Necro
• Ranger
• Elementalist
• Warrior
• Thief
• Engineer

The Professions ArenaNet has unveiled Elite Specializations for:

• Chronomancer (Mesmer)
• DragonHunter (Guardian)
• Reaper (Necromancer)

So yeah… they’re following that order exactly. (and yes, I realize that this would contradict my Thief speculation—I’m no soothsayer, afterall)

Uh yes they are lol.

Mesmer → Guardian
Necromancer → Ranger
Ele → War
Thief → Engi

The first 3 check out so far.

Scroll down to the blurbs part, and read it in rows. If you do that it is Mesmer, Guardian, Necromancer … exactly what we’ve seen, see? Then Ranger, Ele, Warrior, Thief, Engineer.

Engineer being the farthest from completion as of last public info, it makes sense it would be at the end.

This doesn’t mean they will hold to the order on that page, but for the first third of the reveals it’s held up.

Admittedly I just looked at the order of the classes listed at the top of the page while everyone else scrolled down to the class descriptions. Of course if I were ANet (assuming they read this), I would scramble the rest just to maintain the element of surprise. :-)

Don’t worry, Revenant is likely last. Besides it would makes sense that the Engineer elite spec is one of the last since the Engineer’s core specs are still quite unfinished.

Just because it happens to have followed that order for now, is in no way, shape or form evidence that they will continue to do so, unless an ANet employee specifically state that that is their intent. Could be pure coincidence
