So Anet announced this new class specialization thing coming for HoT today @ PAX, but they said that it was a change for PvE. Does this mean that the ranger-druid, necro-GS etc. are not going to be useable in WvW or sPvP? Or am I remembering wrong?

Masteries seem to be highly PvE specific, the specializations not so much from what I could gleam off the stream.
