Here is the problem I see, I never see any advertising for the game, and it is 3 years old, you see the problem with trying to lure new players.

I see ads on Youtube, gaming magazine sites, etc. But, I also see other ads that are tailored to my preferences there, so maybe you don’t have those kinds of things enabled. /shrug

Maybe they simply haven’t started yet. Maybe the expansion is further out than we think.

Though thinking back to the original GW2 I can’t remember a big advertisment campaign either. At least not the likes of the WoW-expansions.

Well, just about every major internet site have these smart ad things, I believe the brand is adchoice. It uses your searches and selects ads that are appropriate to your searches. So if one of these new players searches for video games, eventually gw2 will turn up. There’s plenty of advertising going on, it’s just you have to have some video games in your search history.

i get bombarded by gw2 adds but im thinking i did searches for things on gw2 thats how it got into my ad preferences. almost think ad preferences need to change up something. if i google it that much must be i got game so they should advertise simlar games instead
