Hi guys, recently there was a newsletter signup- to get emails about HoT and a potential chance to get into the beta. As many have gotten into the beta, i checked my mail. I hadn’t. I thought “Ok, i guess that was to be expected”.

But i haven’t got any newsletters either? Which we were told we were going to get anyway. Can i have signed up with the wrong email, or have they just not sent any newsletters yet?

Not everyone getting these mails and personally i think thats a problem on their side as i never had troubles with gmail, i have all filters off, added their mail to friendlist etc and still 0. You could always try to contact AN support but why bother them? After all its olny a beta which we can see on youtube later posted by other ppl.

I have not received any information either. I’m not sure if there is something or they just have not released any information through the newsletter yet

So it’s not just me, then? I signed up, didn’t get the confirmation link to click and figured I had signed up before (which I was told would mean I was in the pool automatically). But I never got a single newsletter regardless.
Now I’m miffed >:-(
(Okay, not really, but it would’ve been nice to know there was an issue and I could’ve maybe signed up with another email address… eh. Whatever. I’ll just be happy for the guildies who did get an invitation :> )

I did not receive a confirmation mail either, but I did, however, get invited to play the Beta. So that should not be an issue.

I had this same issue and I believe it is related to email addresses with special characters or maybe to hotmail addresses.

Also checked my spam folder but found no newsletter.

Too bad, I realized that I wasn’t subscribed today. I wanted to hop on beta too, but now I won’t (kitten bugs)

Yes, I just did a test with another email address, and it sends you a confirmation mail once you request the subscription.

Well I’m a fellow player since the original GW prophecies and a bunch of AP too, and here I am without invitation. Life is unfair sometimes

Perfect, than I can’t prove, that I’m “a loyal gw2 player” since every other email would not be linked to my gw2 account.

That is actually good news for me. Maybe I didn’t got the HoT newsletter confirmation since I am already registered to the normal gw2 newletter.

I’m using (firstname).(lastname)@gmail.com and have failed to receive any sort of emails on the subject of HoT. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue!!

I have gotten a invite aswell and I didn’t sign up to newsletter/wished to participate due to my work hours. I think its just sent randomly to registred accounts.

For those asking about a confirmation e-mail in relation to a newsletter subscription, I want to mention that I asked our newsletter person about this, and he said that the note indicating that a confirmation mail would be sent was in error. If you signed up for the newsletter, you’re subscribed. If you were previously receiving our GW2 newsletters, you’re subscribed. No confirmation will be sent in relation to an existing or new newsletter subscription.

Except we’re not talking about a confirmation email. I, personally, am referring to the fact that I have yet to receive a newsletter proper. It’s all very confusing.
