Got the beta item, signed up for newsletter, but I never received any information for the beta client in an email or in any other form. I’ve seen people mention it, but I don’t have a beta character slot.

If you received the portal drop- all you need to do is log on normally and you’ll see a beta slot on the character screen. Log in during the BETA time and create a character.

There is no beta client or anything. The entire expansion (as far as it is accesable) is allready in the game as it is. To provide access, the people who got access to the beta have an extra character slot labelled beta. It is all the way to the right of your current characters and it is empty. If you don’t have that slot, you don’t have access and something went wrong. You can contact support (there are more who had or have issues). looking at the thread (here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Beta-Email/first#post5097878 ) the issue is not resolved for them and I am afraid they will not be able to do it for the other tow slots today. I still think you should file a ticket. Hopefully they give you some kind of compensation (e.g. access to a future beta event)

Many of us are having this problem. 3 days and counting… no response from Anet, and support can not help.
