Is this intended or a bug? I got nothing for 100% map completion. Zero, 0. Nothing at all. Void.

Great another Anet ‘gem’ to look forward too …

Check the bugs forum, there have been many people noting that if your alt has 100% core completion you won’t get rewarded for HoT map completion on that alt.

I’m close to completing VB on a non-main who doesn’t have 100% and I am hoping she gets the reward. If so only two of my alts will be barred from it until the bug is fixed. Since the reward is part of the collection needed to make the grand version of the elite weapon, I am not risking messing that up for my Thief. I do want that pretty Bo staff!

It’s a bug and they had better be retroactively rewarding players that have completed their maps already once they fix this.

It is a well known bug, and Anet’s working on it, and we’ll get the reward anyway don’t worry.
On my main (necro) with 100% vanilla I had no chest at the end of VB, but with my alt druid that had almost never left LA prior to HoT I got the reward at the end of VB. So I stay optimistic. Also if you want the ascend elite spec weapon you need to complete 1 HoT map so I’m pretty confident rewards will be retroactive.
