No skill points after level 80?
They will introduce a new currency. They are separating skill points and the materials you can buy with them.
How we will earn the new currency is not well known so far.
Skill points will no longer exist. They will be replaced by hero points which are only used for unlocking skills and traits. As Pandeh metioned, recipes which use skill points now will use a new currency in the future.
Someone should mention that all the excess skill points we have sitting around will become/be converted to the new currency (whatever they decide to name it). It should be very similar to how trans stones and crystals became charges (except we don’t need to manually exchange it), I’m assuming.
And that the new currency will be in the wallet.

Sorry I don’t have links on hand but they did mention any current repeatable source of scrolls of knowledge will be changed to provide the new mystic forge currency. They also said they would introduce new sources to compensate for the removal of skill points on level up when they first revealed the mastery system.
