In a way I suppose I owe you a thank you. I wasn’t sure if I’d ever stop spending but HoT cured me of that. I have absolutely no desire to give you any more money. Maybe that was your plan all along.

I’m just happy I finished Twilight before HoT dropped. I too think it’s time for me to ease back and try to farm the game a bit before investing any more new real world dollars.

My problem is there are still things I want to spend real world dollars on even though I feel me and my tiny guild got the big ol’ middle finger by HoT I want the dollars I’ve already spent to go towards the next xpac, which hopefully won’t disenfranchise small guilds.

Not quite sure what OP is on about but I’m a bit worried about the economy. According to gw2tp.com the value of gold has increased from 1$/15g to 1$/10g. At the same time the demand of ascended equipment and guild halls have made materials go from example 2s/elder wood plank on 23rd october to 7s/elder wood plank on 25th november. I really do wonder if players who started just for HoT are ever able to get the equipment required for raiding if this kind of progression continues.

I understand EXACTLY what the OP is saying because I’ve been having the same exact thoughts.

Not another penny from me either.

Prices for everything important has shot up to the point where even if you mainly do gem → gold, which I do, it is now just too expensive.

I’m selling everything with this high market. But if doesn’t level out, I can see it being an issue. Ascended armor sets are now insanely expensive.
