While browsing for a 3DS I saw this advertisement, it seems a tad too fast (20/06/2015) but hey, thought I would share it.

Found nothing about this Intel on the fora, was just wondering. As I said in the original post: it seems a tad too fast. Thanks for the reply. Stupid that they place that date even though they dont even know it themselves. O well, nothing wrong with checking it out.

The way some companies set up their websites they can’t list things for pre-order without a release date. Its one of those things that seems like a good idea when you’re tying to build a site for only semi-computer-literate employees to update and need to restrict how much they can change the information and layout. Or one of those things that simply doesn’t get thought about until later on.

So if they want to list something that’s been announced but hasn’t got an official release date yet they have to put a random date in – either their best guess or one that’s obviously a place-holder. (One place I used to work, years ago obviously, it was always 01/01/11.)

They will tell you when they will release it. Vendors don’t know.

They’re just placeholders. Wait for Anet to release the date, they’re the only ones that know.

I agree. I wouldn’t pay $100 for add-on content, let alone $50. $50 is quite expensive for an add-on content.

But for GW2, I don’t have much of a issue with it. I’ve paid $60 (preorder) for 2.5-3 years (somewhere around there) of enjoyment, and counting. If that all adds up to $60, that’s a total of around $400 less than what I’d have to pay to our competitor World of Warcraft.

That’s a crazy awesome price when you think about it. When putting it in that perspective, $50 is very little, and I don’t have a problem supporting GW2. In fact, I’d pay the $100 for the expansion – to me, it’s worth it to support them.
