Nothing at all sice a few days
Patience is a virtue. They’ve actually given a decent amount of information since the announcement. Not as much as we’d love to have, but pretty good schedule. I expect that every week we will get one new topic (if we are lucky, two sometimes). My guess is this:
This week (week of 2/9): Strongholds
Week of 2/16: Guild halls and some teaser on guild events
Week of 2/23: New WvW borderland map
Week of 3/2: Full Revenant reveal
Week of 3/9-3/30: Specialization reveals (two per week maybe)
April: More detail on some of the other options and preparation of release in late April, May, or June.
Since it is quite unlikely that the expansion will be released within a month or so, they simply spread out the information so as to give us something to do/read while we wait.
We had two blog posts last week, which makes me think we will have another two this week. We also know that we will have a special PoI tomorrow that talks about (and shows) Masteries.
Krall Peterson – Warrior
Piken Square
Ram year, celebration is comming soon to keep us busy
As for the rest, yeah I’m eager to see whats coming for specializations and the new weapon unlocks as much as you I think.
But everyone is watching the never boiling pot right now, 4 days ain’t nothing really, lets chill, have a few beers and hope Russia and Nato stop playing age of empires ;P
i’d like to remind the overly enthusiastic fans that ANet, just like you, have weekends off. they are real people with families and friends, and they too like to spend at least a day or two off of work, as much as they love their job.
and really, we had new stuff saturday, whether you liked or not.
Don’t forget we also get a special/another PoI episode tomorrow showing the mushrooms and gliding (I think thats the second thing).

That roll-out of information seems to be a bit slow since there will be playable demos in early march and the beta is said to start shortly after that. Still, I agree with you that they will want to stretch the reveals as much as possible.

Not so sure, the Revenant reveal is should be in time for PAX to make it playable. Even though it is a playable demo, the point may not (and in my opinion won’t be) about the professions, but about the general content and mastery system. Look at what we had during the original beta weekends. We did not have all races or professions available except for during the very last one just before launch.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love for a faster time schedule and am hoping I am incorrect. But that seems to make sense and keeps the hype going through until just before release.

What did we have Saturday?
OP:
Given the time zone differences we probably won’t hear anything until later on if they do release a blog post.
I’m from the UK, and I remember that the blog posts didn’t release until around 6pm GMT.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.

i really do hope that they do stronghold posts this week.
Also, you forgot the April 1st blog post about squirrels being added to the game. If/when they do that, ill completely add a link to my signature due to the sheer awesomeness of it.
Gates Of Madness
Jewelcrafting to 500!
As I recall from the April feature patch blogs (which really were far too drawn out), they didn’t give us Friday or Monday posts. Monday most likely because the poor dev would be spending his/her weekend writing it and still need final approval for the post before it could go up, and Friday because (total guess here) then any forum repercussions would be on a weekend when there couldn’t be so much attention paid to threads.
Or maybe we just didn’t get one Friday because they were doing a POI.
Anyway, I sure hope something comes today. The blogs are interesting reveals and tend to spur a burst of interesting forum threads

I would bet that Donari is bang on the money about the reasons for the posting schedule here. I fact you could say that I’d be willing to put my Dinari on Donari. Hahahahaha ha.
Hah.
Eh.
Sorry.
What did we have Saturday?
Stronghold teaser.

Well, shows I wasn’t wrong about this week
I’m going to guess we’ll get a blog post on it Thursday since they are releasing interviews today.
I wonder if each week is going to be:
Monday: Teaser image
Tuesday: Article on some other site (ign and pcgamer have theirs already, massively is out (due to it closing))
Wednesday: Either tweet/retweet by anet official account about Tuesdays article or their own article.
Thursday: Anet’s article on the weekly topic (if it wasn’t done Wednesday).
