1 event the larva defend is ok for solo player since most of the chack will aggro the guard first

2 next phase is a nightmare because the larva are stupid and making player defending more than one choke point against mobs with a brain dead VIP that keep getting in the fire zone .Also whats with the zero EXP , drop mob that spawn unlimited its really overkill here

3 Herding the beetle is Ok as long as you dont aggro those frog gank .But still making one player doing fed-ex over 10 Objective is a turn off

4 Ahem one mushroom is headache but ganks of Mobs that spam AOE and knock back. Are you Cereal! And the scaling is off too I soloed that and it need 15 part to complete it.And the placement of drop off NPC is too close too frog ganks and too far from the mushroom They leashed before reaching the drop off NPC

I tried again with 3 people and still need like 15 of mushroom piece as well Please change it that it need specific amount like doing Shatterer Pre-event.That will encourage people to do events

I didn’t have chance to do the rest yet because of random map close every 15 minute stop the chain event group going.

The second event might just be one of the worst in this game ever. I’ve seen that one go on forever and you get literally nothing for killing a metric ton of Chak.

I second that. Takes ages and you get nothing.

‘would have/would’ve been’ —> correct
‘would of been’ —> wrong

I agree with the second phase taking way too long. And you don’t get much for that amount of time put in. Maybe make the larva move quicker or something? Plus I think Nuhoch events scale too much, there was a time I had to make 20 trips for that single event to bring mushrooms back to the Nuhoch guard, that makes 40 runs (back and forth). In another event, we ran out of angry adolescent beetles to stomp, we were all just standing around with sticks in our hands waiting for angry adolescent beetles to spawn. I don’t think our numbers hit more than 10 then. I mean, it doesn’t sound very bad when I write it like this, but it took a way longer time than I remembered with a group of half the numbers we had.

Well I happen to like the second event. It’s one of the few places where using heals/speed boosts on the npcs is actually useful.

That chain can be a pain because of how much it scales without the adjustments being meaningful.

The beetle feeding mushrrom REALLY needs a reevalution.
That event would be less of a pain if the mushrrom part was an item that can be put in inventory & gave to the frog.

Weird … didn’t find the mushroom feeding too bad. Maybe because you are actually doing something.

On the other hand the protect the larva really sucks. Stand around doing nothing. Occassionally some chak spawn. Kill the chak then it’s back to standing around doing nothing.

The problem with the larvae event is that its so darn unclear what you’re actually supposed to do. Its unclear where you’re supposed to get the beetles to go and unclear which chak are actually a threat to the beetles and which ones are just ambient enemies who are “there” but not actually part of the event. I’ve seen many people, myself included at first, running around killing every Chak and then wondering why the heck nothing was actually happening. Only when I by chance saw one of the beetles go into the center area and glow did I figure out “Oh, ok, that’s where they need to go and I don’t need to worry about the side areas”. With all the arrows on the compass in HoT events telling you how to get to areas and such, an arrow pointing to the center where the larvae actually need to go would have really helped. Also, the larvae take their sweet time doing anything even once they reach the target area. Which, granted, pupation isn’t exactly an instant thing, but some kind of sound cue or animation or something letting you know that something is actually happening would be nice. Make them actually turn into cocoons first and then beetles, something.

Beetle feeding… yeah. I remember that running a bit long. But nothing too horrendous. The event to collect airship parts for Ordinance Outpost in Verdant Brink is way, way worse.
