Two new armor sets?
I’m fine with the number of weapon sets, but is this including Guild Hall armor, Legendary Precursor Armor, Raid Armor, etc?

Can we have confirmation that this is strictly open world, non-dungeon, non-raid, non-pvp, non-guild hall armors?

If this is the total amount of armor sets I’ll be seriously disappointed because for heavy that’s just Mistward and Guild Armors.

Precursor, legendary and guild armor are also confirmed and there could be pvp, etc.

Don’t worry about the number of armor and weapons set.
I’m pretty sure it is only what’s gonna be at the release and new set will be added soon after.

2 armor set = light and dark guild set.
few weeks after HoT release first path of the first raid will be open and with it likely a new set and so on and so on.

But it would be great to have it in an official announcement somewhere on the HoT website indeed.

It does seem pretty low. You know, I’ve been boosting for this expansion since it was announced, and I’m still optimistic, but the quantity of “things” being released does seem awfully low so far. Too few built in armors, too few maps, etc. I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and they can launch with just that, but I need for them to promise us that they will be producing more maps and more in-game armors that will be released as the next LW series progresses, before we get to the next cash-gate.

Can we get an official word on that?

You know, if they were pumping out gem store ARMOR skins of the same quality as the outfits, I would be buying them. I mean, I still think we’re owed more than a few armor sets with the x-pac, but I would still buy good ones off the store from time to time, but I have absolutely ZERO interest in outfits that I can’t mix and match with existing pieces. I really wish they would just stop that already, fix their armor rigging systems so that they can mix and match bits, and start making proper armors again.

gem store is outfits which can’t be mixed/matched. not as good.

also, it’s 2 open world sets (per weight) 2 guild sets, legendary armour, possibly precursor armour, and individual skins (chrono shoulders, reaper hood, etc). it’s a little more than 2 sets.

there are people like me who scream for kittening armor skins since almost a year now. We DONT want outfits, we want SKINS and now we get TWO armor sets and a handfull of “loose skins”.. god im mad now…

It’s 2 from open world. There is one more from guild halls and precursor/legendary one.

If I understood it correctly, it’ll be like this:

6 open world sets (2 heavy, 2 medium, 2 light).
3 guild sets (1 heavy, 1 medium, 1 light).
3 precursor sets (1 heavy, 1 medium, 1 light).
3 legendary sets (1 heavy, 1 medium, 1 light).

5 open world weapon sets.
2 guild weapon sets (those are the dark and light versions that were mentioned).

Then there’s mention of 3 legendary weapons, meaning 3 legendary precursors as well.
Unconfirmed: I recall that they mentioned in one of the interviews, that they were going to revamp the look of the existing precursors as well, to make them more in line with the legendaries. Not certain on that part though, since legendaries never interested me that much. :p

Also, there’s a mention of ‘60 additional item skins and miniatures’ that you can earn in the open world content. That last bit is a bit vague, but I suspect that to include backpacks and non set items (like those Lawless pieces.

Last but not least, there are 175 unlockable decorations for the guild halls.

Hopefully I’ve managed to scout out the fashion well enough!

Guys, there will be 2 guild set since you can chose between two guild hall with either the “shiny” or the “dark” set. Its the same for weapons… read again the blog post about guild halls.
You’re big boyz you can find it all by yourselves.
