Guild Wars 2 rekindled my interest in mmorpgs, reconnected me with friends I haven’t been in contact with for many years. No subscription fee.

Community that is painted Pink by the players and endless nights of WvW. Killing Teq and those three wurms. Quaggan Waddles and Toga Parties!

PS – YES this means I am at PAX this year! Can’t wait to see everyone!

GW2 has been the best way for me and my best friends from around the country to stay connected. Separated by distance, joined by gw2.

GuildWars has taught me to dance. I had some sweet moves before but GW2 has refined me from a piece of coal to a diamond!

Today is my guild’s 10 year anniversary. We’ve been fighting for Tyria since Rurik spent much time in those lands. We are Ready and Willing!

I am coming from Washington D.C. to PAX just for ArenaNet!

I really want to talk to (buy drinks) for your back end engineers and sing their praises! Those back end guys are the true heroes of Tyria and it would be a dream to meet those guys and talk shop.

GW2 is the best way to stay connected with my friends who refuse to move to the same state as me even though they know mine is better than theirs.

Guild Wars has been my life. It brings new experiences, joy, and novelty to gaming. Now these changes continue to shine in Heart of Thorns.

p.s. yaaaayyy! going to pax as well. Sooo excited to see what’s in store for guild wars and heart of thorns

I love Guild Wars 2 because of the art direction.
But Honestly? what I’m most excited about is that after 3 years of playing the game I can quest for my precursor and finally complete my Bifrost staff.

I’m not able to be at PAX, but should my entry “win”, I’ll give the “PAX Ticket” off as gift free to anyone by random chosen from Anet and I’d like to see then as personal little win a Miniature Llama instead Would make me happy then too and would be something, from that I have something instead of that ticket

“Why do I continue to battle for Tyria? It is because I believe that when the Six left so many years ago they did not simply abandon us. No, I believe that we the children of Tyria were just that, children. So they left not to abandon us but to allow us to grow and learn to stand on our own. So each day I fight, not only to protect this land from the corruption of the Dragons but because I believe that once the races of Tyria can come together and defeat the greatest threat we have ever faced will we be worthy of their return. Yes, I fight so that someday I may see the grace and beauty that drove Malchor and so many others like him to madness with my own eyes. Only then will I be able lay down my sword and rest. Until that day I will continue to fight and, while we have taken our first step with the downfall of Zhaitan, we still have long to go until the day the Six return to Arah and bless us once again.”

I love guild wars 2 because it’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing games and has a place in my heart.

Please don’t pick me as I wont be attending. Just thought I’d put a post down hehehe.

Guildwars made me love mesmers! Arguably the best unique class across any mmorpg! I’m so excited to play my Chronomancer in HoT!

I’m excited for HoT because I can’t wait for some new content so I’m not just logging in for my daily login reward a majority of the time!

I love how original GW2 is to other MMOs and I can not wait to play a Dragon Hunter!

Guild Wars was my high school life. Fighting your Doppelganger/Ascension was one of the best moments and still playing GW2 ten years later

Best combat system for PvP ever, awesome community and great guildies! I can’t wait for guild arenas, guild teams, leagues and the legendary backpiece!

I love the world design and the fluidity of leveling up. This was the first game I was able to level up however I wanted to, explore everything, and JUMPING PUZZLES!

While I don’t really intend on going to PAX here are my two cents:

GW2 is an awesome MMO. I especially love the character story arcs and the characters themselves, especially the development from S1, I cant wait to replay season 1.

Hello! I’m going to PAX and am really excited to see the big GW2 event! I just started playing 2 weeks ago, and this is my first forum post. It’d be great to visit the party, this game is the most fun I’ve had with an MMO in 10+ years.

I’ve tried many other MMOs, but keep coming back to GW2. Perfect balance of casual and competitive. Dev’s passion really shines through!

Flying to PAX Just for GW! Picked GW1 up over WoW in 2005. I go to every GW event at even the premier to meet the devs! I even wore a “WTS ECTOS” t-shirt with my girlfriend who I got through playing GW!

Entering here because GW2 is great! Heard incredible things about the last party, and I’ve always enjoyed the game!

I’ve met some of the most amazing people through GW2 and shared experiences I’ll never have anywhere else.

GW2 helps me keep connected with my girlfriend while we live in other countries. Brings us together in our search for loot.
