POI at the Grub Pit Needed
A PoI won’t really help them much either. The easiest is to link them the Nuhoch WP and tell them to take the wallow. Wallows should be the first second mastery of the Nuhoch ones so it can be unlocked fairly quickly.
Edit: It’s the second mastery so a player needs a little over 1.5M exp to unlock it. This can be done in under an hour by doing the Dragon’s Stand meta. It’s one of the handful of masteries that are actually useful.

Yeah doing TD without wallows is not really that good. If you die during the meta, you have to wait for a rez in most cases, because the run back is too long. Getting around is murder.
I would expect most people on TD to have nuhoch wallows unlocked.
I just had to nearly solo the first 2 meta steps right before posting this because no one could find there way to the Grub Pit. This is not a hypothetical issue. Admittedly, it could be less of a problem later in the day (although we had plenty for the later meta steps around Techu Nuhoch, so it’s not like the map was empty), but there were plenty of people who did not have wallows and thus couldn’t find the place. A POI would fix the problem easily.
I’m confused. If people have trouble finding their way to the area, how would a Point of Interest help?
Or are you really saying that people don’t know where the area is, and if they did know where it was, they would be able to find their way there?

Link another PoI on the map and ask someone to find their way to it. How about the one in the hive where the MP is? The thing is that players will run in a direct path to it and then get stuck when they see they can’t reach it that way. There is a reason why a lot of players have issues navigating that map and a PoI will not resolve it. I’m not against a PoI being out there but I know that it won’t solve the problem.

The instructions needn’t be multi-part. Just “/m (Nuhoch WP link) take Grub wallows” gives all the information necessary, and gets people there faster than if they, not already knowing the route, have to look to the suggested poi, notice the wallows, and trace the arrow along the map to find that ahah, that’s one of the Teku Nuhoch hub ones.
A POI isn’t the difference between success and failure of this event.
I wouldn’t mind if they added one because: (a) it would help directing people to the location and (b) it’s unlikely to slow down anyone’s map completion, since you pass through on the way to something or other.
Yeah, popping a POI there won’t help anything because they’d still have to figure out how to get to it.
