Guild Wars 2

I wanted to finish my crafting professions to 500 on level 80 alts and saw that crafting doesn’t give experience towards masteries. Do we know if it’s intended or it’s a bug?

Apparently the only zones that allow experience gain now are the new HoT pve zones. I guess it was a way of forcing people to stay there.
