Guild Wars 2

In GW1 it was common to pay other plays for “runs” . In GW2 we have “Taxi” services which are kind of the same. With Heart of Thorns players are now offering to help others cap all hero challenges on a map quickly for pay. What is ArenaNet’s stance on players paying other players with in-game items/currency for assistance?

Policy on LFG tool

“Players may use the tool to sell a spot in a group, but they may not use it to sell or trade items or for any other unintended purposes. Doing so will result in an account infraction.”

If a player is willing to pay for a service another player wants payment for nothing wrong with it

The other part of their stance is:
We are not responsible for anyone loosing gold on these.

But the caveat to that is if you and others report that the person selling is not delivering and they do find it to be a pattern they will usually take action. But everyone would have to report the person doing the selling but not delivering.
