Peach daily is gated.
My general tip for this game, not only when it comes to this specific topic, would be:
Always try to find alternative (easier/faster) way to do things.
That depends. For me if I actually did that the optimization becomes the game and that always results in a bad ending.
Well, to each his/her own. I just give my suggestion, which you can apply to your life outside of gaming just as well (as long as you don’t hurt anyone else in the process).
Why make things more complicated than they are/need to be?
Because it pushes yourself to get better!
A better realization of one’s limits— of what one can do as opposed to what one cannot do— would greatly reduce a lot of complaints. =p
Take the whole thing about switching out a utility skill or so to make things easier. Is it because people won’t do it because they can’t (unlikely) or because they usually don’t and never considered in an option until brought up?
People are way too quick to focus on what they can’t do. Don’t be afraid to fail, because the reward is way greater than the risk. You might realize you were capable of things you never knew.

So is this still an actual issue? At no point during my attempts to get the peaches did I need any speed boosts to get up. It’s a bit of a tricky jump, but not an impossible one. You just need good timing.
Maria Murtor.7253 has already explained with a very good animated gif from where you jump and glide, why aren’t people reading when offered the solution? Seems like there are so many people complaining about everything these days.
So, I’ll link her image in this thread as well. Credits to Maria Murtor.7253
Oh, yeah. Thanks for this. Worked like a charm. I guess I’m just one of those who stink at gliding, or maybe my space bar is defective (yeah, that’s it).
Ironically, just after successfully using this route from the cave’s exit, I tried the pillar path again just to see and danged if I didn’t make it the whole way, for the first time in dozens of attempts.
Ha! I can’t for the life of me figure out the ‘starting place’ for the gliding path. I can only use the pillars. (I do make it easy on myself and use the Rifle, just to completely avoid any frustration.)

I got it first time – and then I’ve never managed it again since. Ditto the alternative pillar route that skips the last pillar. I’m back to the normal pillar route, as it seems the most reliable.

When you first enter the area from the little spider tunnel, hug the wall to your right and do a short hop-glide to the grassy nook. Stand towards the top of the rise with the leaf covered wall to your right, not jammed against the wall, just near it. Jump forward to glide and immediately press and hold your forward button to use lean techniques. Steer through the leaves, hugging the wall, until you can see the peach isle’s lower ridge on the left side. Aim for the lower part of that ridge.
You can also strafe left on the starter nook to eyeball the target landing spot, then get back up to the slope’s top (not all the way at the back, just the top of the steeper bit of slope) so you have an idea of where you will be aiming.
Ok, next time I will give it a try. I was just there on my Necro, sans Rifle, and managed to make the 4th jump without issue. Conversely, the second jump gave me lots of trouble today. Lol, go figure.
If you miss, make sure not to drift all the way down into the moat. From the ledge you land on after a miss you can glide back over and run back up to try the glide again.
I can’t believe this thread is so long who doesn’t have swiftness/speed boost? Topic title is a lie
Are you jumping through all the pillars or using the ledge after the first one? jump on the first pillar, then jump over to the ledge (it looks like it is too steep, but it isnt). From this ledge, jump easily to the second pillar, then then third.
Only thing i can think of here is you are trying to jump from pillar to pillar without the use of that ledge.
Or use the other method, which also works (but the jumps are easier on the pillars, plus you can get the unbound magic for the other daily along the way)

No, the topi title isn’t a lie. The peach daily IS gated… to one peach a day. Which is the entire point.

That is not quite true either. You can get one on every character and it is account bound.
There is a ridiculous amount of mobs in the camp to the point anything but a tank with good healing is pretty much unable to reach the area. If there hadn’t been groups I never would have reached it with my warriors.
… really? You literally just run. Stack around a corner and kill them afterwards, if you want. Or don’t. I’ve done it on both my glass ele and my condi engineer.
How in the world is speedboost a problem? The place doesnt even have mobs to put u in combat unless u hit them so switch to a skill or trait that gives you increased movement speed….
i just park a character there and load them everyday.

Doesn’t this also result in dragging mobs into other players possibly killing them too?
If you’re talking about the Watchtower full of centaurs, nope. Any players not in trouble that you run into will remain not in trouble if you add a few more centaurs to the infinite spawn they’re fighting.
If you’re talking about the spider tunnel leading to the peach cave, nope. There shouldn’t be any players standing around in spider range, and if they are, they’d have to be afk not to be able to kill the things.
I don’t think it’s possible to “just run” through all the centaurs without stealth or blocks, the sharpshooters will get you and the tramplers will turn you to popcorn if you don’t evade them at the right time. Otoh going through the centaurs is far from the best route to the peach, so methods of dealing with them are mostly irrelevant to the peach gate under discussion. (I know there is at least one person that would rather fight their way up the hill than do a short glide to the peach because of the “JP” nature of it).
Well, with 3 classes with decent stealth uptime and a 4th that can get some, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Scrapper is definitely the most foolproof though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmF5J47yquU
I kinda just run past them on necro, if you don’t count using pets to distract. I think they made things worst, honestly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hzUOxFitTk
