Hello there. I don’t know if the question has been asked before, as there is a huge lot of posts.

I wanted to know if the personnal story of the character will have an impact on the HoT story, or is it some past stuff that won’t be used anymore ? (I want to know because I wanted to create a new char, and maybe wait until I know how some stories happen before chosing a path)

The only way it might play in is there are certain threads of info which you would know about or not know about depending on what Personal story stuff you’ve done. For instance there are certain characters and things from the Sylvari personal story which might pop up.

But as far as having a real tangible effect on the HoT storyline? No, it won’t matter. All of the choices in the personal story pretty much added up to flavor changes. Also since you can take part in the Living Story (and by extension the new HoT storyline) without completing the Personal Story, they can’t have the choices made there matter too much.
