Anyone know if its bugged? I don’t see the “Petrified Wood home instance node is now available for purchase in Ember Bay.” from update. Someone said in map chat it may be bugged if you bought the bloodstone node already.

Have you checked each heart vendor and especially the unbound magic one near the Asura gate?

There are a lot of threads saying that if you have the bloodstone node, you can’t get the wood node. And if you do get it, it turns into the bloodstone node.

From what I’ve read in-game, on Reddit, and here on the forums, it seems that they accidentally made the Petrified Wood node reference the Bloodstone Node instead.

So the game is looking at your home instance, seeing that you have the Bloodstone Node (which is what the Petrified Node currently points to) and removes it from the vendor, as it does with all account-bound one time purchases. And anyone who doesn’t already have that node and buys the Petrified node just gets the Bloodstone one instead.

Glad I wasn’t home to discover that yet. Excited to see the node show up, but there really ought to have been more care invested. I’m sure it’ll get fixed in short order.

Glad I was a few hundred short of the 10,000. Hopefully by the time I get them the fix will be up.

A bug causes the Petrified Wood Node to function as the Bloodstone Crystal Node, and to fail to appear as purchasable to players who already have that node.

I was able to get it this morning when I went to Ember Bay. I have the bloodstone node and was able to mine both in my home instance too.

It originally wasn’t showing up for me either, but the hotfix patch that was released shortly after today’s reset fixed it for me. I purchased the Petrified Wood node and it showed up properly in my instance.

Wasn’t mentioned in the release notes.

I haven’t bought it yet but it showed up this morning in the vendor list and did not show yesterday. I’m waiting for more confirmation before I buy it.

I have the Bloodstone Crystal Node and the Petrified Wood Node was available for me at the vendor this morning. I bought it and it was in my home instance in Hoelbrak. In below picture you can see where it is and that I just got Blood Rubies from the Bloodstone Crystal Node. So it worked fine for me.
