Where are the vendors for these items? Where are the vendors for the class-based inscriptions? It says plated weapons are sold at Nuhoch vendors, but i’ve been to two nuhoch vendors and they ONLY sold Chak weapons.

And people have said there are no vendors in a completed dragon’s stand map.

i looked for them as well and couldnt find them so far…maybe the weapons are only being sold after a certain event cleared or so

Final zone after the meta event there you can buy the plated ones at a vendor nearby the chopper that gets you out of there. And the machined ones are collections, you unlock said collection as soon as you bought the plated one…like you buy the plated hammer and then can unlock the machined one and so on, dont ask me whats needed for the collection, still working to get one of these myself lol

You need to win the dragonstand map then.. Ugh.

And what’s the price of one of them? Before I try to win the map I’d like to have all the mats to buy it

2 handed weapons cost 150 airship parts, 150 lumps of aurilium, 150 leylin crystals and 3 reclaimed metal plates
1 handed 100 and 2

I must have gone through that part three times, missing it. I tried using the search function, and “machined” turned up jack, so I assumed it wasn’t working correctly.

Can’t get this collection to work for me, either. Just purchased the plated shield but it won’t start the collection. Tried selecting stats and that didn’t work. Do I need to salvage it to make the collection start?

OK I am trying to make the machined long bow. cannot seem to find the hero point that you use to charge the weapon set. On Duffy someone said in VB where you need mastery 5 but that says I have learned all I could. Thanks for any advice.

Don’t even need to check the wiki there — the problem is you went to a Mastery commune. You need a Hero Point commune to charge the item. For me the absolute easiest one to reach for this purpose is via a wallow in VB. Go to the central Pact Command WP, glide down to the NE to the large dirt area with beetles, jump into the wallow. You come out right next to a commune and so long as you have the oiled item in your bags for charging, you get an interact.

Any Hero Point that is a commune will do the trick. I suppose you could also run up the vine above Faren’s to get to the HP right there, but that WP isn’t always open so I find the Pact Camp one to be best for a dedicated oiled charging trip.

On the OP issue of vendors, yeah, you do have to finish a DS and you’d best have your 3 plates and 150 of each map currency handy. Then you buy the plated weapon to open the collection … and your chest loot won’t include the specialty part for the collection, you have to do another DS for that to drop in the chest.

Though I had a weird thing happen to me (details posted in the Bugs forum) where shortly after buying the plated longbow I somehow received the machined version for the Ydalir collection without my completing the machined collection itself.

I had that happen with the warhorn as a result of selecting the stats on it.
