I’m really happy to be able to purchase HoT at last, but the ultimate tier is very underwhelming.

While I appreciate the discount on gems is unprecedented, a discount on 4,000 gems is hardly an “ultimate” option. I’d much prefer different exclusive digital goods over some gems.

Please consider changing the ultimate tier, I’m confident many people feel the same way. Most games with multiple prepurchase tiers offer their best and most exclusive goods at their top tier of prepurchase, extra gems just isn’t worthwhile.

Unless the ultimate tier changes, I’ll just be sticking to deluxe.

Why deluxe? The minis and stuff are pretty much garbage. The character slot only costs 10 dollars (800 gems) on its own.

If they added the GW2 tshirt and baseball cap then I’d jump on it like mustard on a hot dog*

Or maybe even make an ‘outfit’ with shorts, HoT Tshirt and cap, and some converse sneakers or something. I’d go for that!

With the 4000 gems included ($50 worth), if you are a regular gem buyer and DONT buy ultimate, you have rocks in your head. That pretty much accounts for the difference in price on its own.

*by mustard, I mean English mustard, not this pansy American stuff

Deluxe has zero value (you are actually paying €20 extra) while Ultimate has €5 value (you are paying €5 for the €10 additional slot). I’m not going to argue the usefullness of the gems, but €50 gems is €50 gems. You get exactly what you would get if you bought €50 on BL today.

OP sticking to deluxe while complaining about ultimate is… ironic.

The gem store is all about outfits nowadays so if you are into outfits I guess the gems from the Ultimate would be nice. Since I absolutely hate outfits there is absolutely no reason for me to get that one since as you said the other stuff is lackluster.
