I’m sure people would want to share beta experiences, ask about the professon, theorycraft etc. Gotham needs this.

This has been brought up before, but I’m pretty sure they are just going to wait until the full class reveal. It’s pointless to try theory-crafting without all of the class information, so they are probably trying to stifle useless speculation.

Still, would be nice to have a consolidated area to talk about the Revenant. Look at how many threads have been devoted to them already. I’d think it would be easier for the devs to find feedback and suggestions for this profession as well. And while it is still in development would be a good time for them to really look hard at those kinds of things.

When they announced HoT they said revenants would get their own sub forum closer to release.

Then why don’t they remove the profession forums because that’s related to the original game? Revenant posts often get buried by other feedback threads, it would be better to have a dedicated place for that. We all know that at some point it’ll be added, but we are over 2 betas and 1 dedicated twitch showcase, it should have been added already imo.

Because there’s enough to talk about for the other professions. I don’t disagree with you that they should add one soon, but for now we simply don’t know enough about the Revenant to theorycraft properly. We only have 3 trait lines, 3 weapons, and 2 legends. That’s pretty much only half of the class.

The reason Revenant threads might get buried is for this very reason. There isn’t enough meaningful conversation to go on about them, so people run out of things to say and they disappear. It’s the nature of the forums. For now, the HoT forums are the best place for Revenant stuff. However, after they fully reveal the class, and if they don’t have a forum set up at that time, then you have a very valid point and I’ll back you all the way. They should at least release the class info and forum simultaneously.
