Please Please Please can we make crow bars purchasable?

I been after the staff for loooong time refuse to buy it. But i am at 40k airship parts and nothing do with them. Make them like 100 parts each or something, just make currency useful.

It’s off that only 1/2 the time you can get the “zone key” from events (daytime). At that some events do not even give them, any Veteran event that is not Mordrem.

That has nothing to do with buying crowbars which are probably the easiest key to obtain already.

I have more than double that amount of airship parts and I’ve spent plenty and I have yet to see that staff drop(I have gotten the hammer though) so good luck with that …

For the sake of parity and personal convenience, I’d have to agree that they should be available for purchase.

Buuut, not having them be for trade means I actually have to participate.

I do not understand how you think crowbars are the easiest? All other are purchasable with zone currency. After a very quick point, currency is not needed, therefor can spend on keys. Also I have plenty too…Why i said after a point you do not need the currency, it just builds up.

Also can we see a SS of the 80k airship parts you have?

I would have to go buy some stuff to make it go down to 80k …

Just running around, pitching in on event while opening cargos and my crowbar counts goes up.

They dont need to be bought, you get plenty of them doing really not much while you are in VB.

Funny, I have the exact opposite problem – I accumulate large numbers of crowbars even if I do my best to ignore events and head directly for cargo crates.

How do you manage to get rid of them? ’o.O

I agree that crowbars are the hardest, at least of the first three zones.

But, machetes are purchased with currencies from the other three zones, not DS. Once again, ANet is forcing us to play content we don’t want or need for any other purpose, in order to attain an unrelated goal.

… How did you run out of Crowbars? I am constantly having to discard stacks of 250 crowbars despite how many godkitten containers I open.

I keep them in a shared slot so I am always opening cargo regardless of which character I am on.

Crowbars are the easiest because of how many you get from just participating in the meta events.

Because my each attempt to reduce their number by mass opening cargos (and just accidentally tagging events i run past) ends with me having more crowbars than i’ve started with.

What you’d really need is something to buy with map currency that would offer a return – i.e something like the chests from the new LS maps.

There is no doubt that crowbars are easier to get than any of them. Airship Parts too are the easiest currency to get. If I run around the map doing events from start into late meta— I will end with something like 45-75 crowbars for an hour of running about. Making the drop rate much higher than in zones like Auric and Tangled Depths.

Alas, I have really effective farming paths in Verdant Brink, which I developed when farming HoT Achievements.

Edit: With that stated, I used to generate more Exalted Keys in Auric Basin when the community was larger and multimap was still happening— just by farming Auric Events on the generic farm path that was needed for supporting Multimap. Again, something I learned to do farming HoT Achievements.

As for running out of crowbars, if you’re in doubt to how fast you can run out of them… bring two stacks (500) crowbars to Verdant Brink and run around farming Airship Cargo & Hitting Short Events while you’re at it. You’ll find that 500 bars lasts you for roughly under two hours. I was always impressed by this.
