Oh I’m not saying they should be removed was, informing that’s there are skins not available any longer, also I know there are quiet a few skins that don’t show in the wardrobe that are still obtainable and appear in wardrobe once you unlock the skin.

I believe my UI shows it, I could be wrong though. Haven’t looked for it specifically in a while.

I don’t play with the wardrobe, but wouldn’t it be better to simply just hide the skins that are no longer obtainable in game (if they are/were at some point released through BLTC they could stay) in your wardrobe unless you had them unlocked?

This would allow players who own them to still use them, and allow players who don’t own them the luxury of not having the problem OP stated

I’d rather have them showing, myself. I like window shopping

Also if the skins do come back, as they tend to do, more players will already know they want them and will jump at the chance to collect them.

It’s very disappointing to find skins you like in the wardrobe for your character’s design only to find that it’s not even available in the game anymore. Then you go and look for another and find that one is also unavailable. There are plenty of ugly skins in the game, why take out the great ones but manage to keep them still listed in the wardrobe?

All you have listed are from the gem store, they come back every now and then, so they are not gone. Check the wiki, it has lots of information.

Triumphant Hero armor is visible for me (but this armor was never available so far)
Glorious Hero armor was never given out for a year or so, rarest items in the game

If they do come back then they are no longer unobtainable, and thus would be displayed in the wardrobe…..

Thats exactly how it is. For example I own 2 of them (heavy shoulders and gauntlets in my case) both of them are obviously shown in my wardrobe, however i do not see any other pieces of the glorious hero armor.

CANACH’S BACKPACK!!! They added it to the wardrobe more than a year ago and it is still not available. I want it for my Sylvari sooo bad so it’s just an unfair tease. Breaks my heart everytime I go to the wardrobe to try stuff on because it’s literally the only back item I like and I can’t get it…

I think it’s fine keeping them there, as long as they are obtainable again in the future. I know those gemstore sets that were mentioned occasionally come back. I think it’d be better if people could see them, so they can at least stalk the gemstore/news and nab them when it does come out again.

id like it if gem store or black lion skins either had their own tab or were hidden unless acquired. or actually they dont need to take choice away from people who do wanna see em, perhaps it could be a filter.

It would be great if there was at least some way of telling from the tooltip how each skin was obtainable. For instance if a skin was only obtainable from the Hall of Monuments, from the Gem Store, etc.
