Can I right click it to spawn a mount too?

There exist 3 game mode in GW2 PvE, PvP, and WvW. Two of those three WvW and PvP allow fight other player obvious. In PvE now exist guild hall arena where player can PvP. You want to duel there are 3 place to do this now WvW (duel player from other server), PvP (custom arena) and now guild hall arena. Please leave rest of PvE alone and no PvP in open world.

too programmed, on schedule, timed…..stuff needs to be spontaneous. like before waiting for a meta to start, that children of the corn thing ’hardcore pvers" do while waiting for an event to start is not fun. no different than a waterballoon fight – just pvp.

part of the problem of the game is how everyone gets along, which is not good. This would simply make various areas of the game more accommodating for all types of players.

I would maybe be ok with it if both player have to own item before invite can be made. This way people don’t want duel invite spam from immature player can not even get invite. Then the duel take player to instance of same map away from PvE player. And 5 minute wait after duel before can use map chat. This help stop the dual trash talk after fight in /map. I still may not want that but it is idea..

No this is good part about PvE not so many troll and trash talk. There exist some but no reason to make more. This one reason many do not want open world duel.

If you want place not to get along with other player PvP has so much not get along you will have you bags fill with it.

yes @Qugi – see part of the idea, is that it can be entertaining to watch while people wait for a meta event to start. Some people like to fight, some like to watch without having to fight.

not to mention it opens doors to have unique title fights for pvpr’s as opposed to fixed match areas – imagine agreeing to a title fight in the Canopy in Hot ? that would be a cool option for a pvpr. big fight, canopy …after wyvern meta event – spectators can come and watch. It brings an rpg aspect to pvp.

I do not want to “watch” against my wish when I am at vendor and player think it funny to have a duel on top of me. I do not think many PvE player want to watch you duel as you think. From many thread about duel it seem many PvE player do not want any part of duel watch or involve or hear about.

This is last I say about this. I get tired of duel thread argue. I say what I think and that is it. Good luck with you request for open world PvP but do not think it will happen from all other thread I read in 3 year. I think guild hall arena was Anet comprise for people that want PvE duel.

it’s unfortunate that in the past, people have abused the pvp aspect of internet gaming. getting offended at pvp is like getting offended at a game of tennis. Tennis would be bad too if it was just about making the people who lost feel bad.
