Guild Wars 2

We all know now that GW2 veterans get a character slot with the Standard edition of HoT if it’s pre-ordered.

However, what I’d like to know is if GW2 veterans pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate editions (both of which come with an extra character slot for everyone), do we get get TWO character slots?

I’ve tried looking this up on Google and searching the forums, but unfortunately it’s an awkward question to phrase right for any search engine.

As such, I’d really appreciate an answer from someone at ArenaNet as it could dictate whether or not I pre-order the Standard edition or spend more for the Deluxe or Ultimate editions.

It’ll be rolled into your account soon. And yes, as a purchaser of the Deluxe Edition, you get the one with the expansion pack itself and the one extra, as well.

Turamarth beat me to it XD And he quoted the right post. But yes Deluxe/Ultimate get 1x immediate slow (deluxe package) and 1x later a slot, manually added by Anet. Normal version get 1 slot (later), But can get the 2nd slot by spending 2400 gems on the deluxe upgrade. (wich I did).

However one is a beta slot, which means it will be removed after the betas are over and any char you had in there (and anything in the inventory) will be lost.

Maybe I’m blind, I’m pretty sure I had 2 empty char slots after reserving a name for my rev and remaking my keyfarm. This was when I just went by all my chars to put in all the traits etc… Just logged in and it’s not here now x.X Maybe I’m just really ready for new glasses…

Regardless, should be 2 slots either way or the next ragemob is going to fall all over the forums over getting shafted.

It’s two slots, I think this should be obvious (assuming you prepurchase, and not preorder). They did say it may take a while before the ‘veteran slot’ is given, since they need to set up the process, but said they’ll do it as soon as possible.
