I’m curious if the expansion will be available as a pre-release, and what the projected cost would be?

They didn’t say, matter of fact they say much at all about release or even what the cost might be.

It sounds like we’re still a ways before release … Hopefully there will be balance in the expansion, as good as can be.

I see these questions all over the place. based off of how most MMO expansions go it could be 40 dollars or more but they have not told us. As a consumer kitten though I can say this; the price will not matter because we will pay whatever it costs to play the expansion. No matter how many people say they hate the direction it is going in that they will not buy it; we will buy it.

We are still waiting on balance for the current classes. It will be a mess for a bit before it balances out with Necromancers eating poo in PvE but stomping PvP. They could release the expansion this fall for all we know.
