Q:
While buying Heart of Thorns I see there is a field where you can enter a promo code for a possible discount. Where I can find such code? To my knowledge companies such as Arenanet give them to streamers and youtubers to give them in giveaways but I heard of none so far.
As far as i know there are no promo codes.
The only time I’ve seen promo codes used is when codes are given out at conventions, etc. for in-game items, such as Mini-pets, etc. Never seen/heard of them used for discounts.
But, if you feel streamers and other content creators are getting these ‘promo-code discounts’, and you wish to acquire one, sign up for the new ArenaNet Partner Program (information in the News Blog).
