Hello, I just have a question about the HOT standard pack. Can i give someone else the extra core game copy it comes with and have the hot expansion on my own account since i already own the game?

Btw, this is my first post i ever made on a forum so…..yea..if i did something wrong sorry…

The main part of the confusion is that GW2:HoT does not “come with” the core game for new players. GW2:HoT is the new core game, so you only get one access code no matter which one you buy. Having bought your account already though, if it was prior to June 16th, you will receive an additional character slot (gem cost of 10 USD), which is the equivalent cost of what the core game on sale was.

There is no ‘extra’ key to give away.

You can either upgrade an existing account with the Serial Key provided, or create a new account.

You can not do both.
