Not so long ago I bought “Heart of Thorns” and now I’m trying to figure out how should I begin gliding. Currently, I have 2 Masteries to choose from: Gliding (with 27% Updraft Use) and Itzel Lore (with 27% Bouncing Mushrooms). As I understand, only 1 can be “activated” (Trained) at one time. Which should I prioritize and learn first? I cannot glide for a long time yet and I cannot jump over the mushrooms at all. I’m totally new at this.

Both are in the “must have” category, but i say go with Bouncing Mushrooms first, and then Updraft Use. BM is tier 1 in Itzel lore, so it’s faster to get that than Updrafts.

I just recently started HOT, too, and had the same questions/concerns. It’s amazing how quickly you build XP and get mastery points with just a bit of exploration and activity. Priority is a close call, but Sir Alric is right about the order.
