There might be an obvious answer to this but can people go to guildhalls if they don’t own the expansion? I was just thinking about the fact that if they can’t join with the rest of the guild in guildhalls it would really suck. But i do understand if Anet decides to only let HoT owners access the guildhall since it’s one of the main features in HoT.

You can’t as far as I know.
You can get to the open one based in LA though, that one becomes automatically available to all guilds at the start of HoT.

Actually in one of the guild chat episodes they said as long as the hall is open everyone can enter it. You cannot claim it if you don’t have the expansion and some things are not accessible inside but otherwise you can get into one.

You’re wrong. You can go to guild halls but only after your guild has claimed a guild hall. The claiming can only be done by players who own HoT.
