Now that we’re over halfway through 2015 (and have seen plenty of HoT content announced), I’m curious what others are spending their time on in the game. I enjoy doing Fractals and dungeons and PvP with the occasional world boss/Teq.
Are you simply trying to master the content you’re most fond of (albeit WvW, PvP, World Bosses, Fractals, etc.), or are you coming up with new/creative ways to spend your time in game?

Most are pre-farming things they need for the gated content in HOT. Time gates are a major problem to how this game (and a lot of other games) try to structure their rewards….. And you know its bad, because the entire player base is going out of its way to stock pile on speculation alone.
I’m sure Anet is doing this intentionally to influence our behavior; but what they don’t seem to realize is the level of frustration its creating by expecting us to be majorly invested in several disparate sections of the game. Its even worse that they brick wall us if we try to focus on aspect via daily limits often critical elements to these activities. The Dailies were supposed to ENHANCE the more casual segment, not limit the hardcore segment.
Right now, the maximum effective reward schedule Per Day, takes about 20 hours. Each Dungeon (3 paths) takes about an Hour if highly proficient, 5 hours for a full world boss circuit, another 3 hours for Temples, 30-40 min for a full fractal run. The WvW segment depends on server, but thats a minimum hour investment. PvP is another hour investment.
If the new legendarys require something along the lines of 2 dugneon types minimum, the gift cost is trending the way the rest of the game’s reward did, they’d have to spend at least a month of dungeon dailies to get those. And Snaff help us all if they decide to RNG that as well, like they did with clovers.
