Currently what I understand from elite specs is that it will follow the new specialization system where you have to use points to unlock the specializations and the new elite specialization. For the new class effects those are being unlocked in the new trait lines how will the new skills and weapon be unlocked still in this new specialization system replacing the trait system. SECONDLY are we going to be able to use the new weapons and utilities without using the new trait lines?

Each skill type (e.g. shouts, corruptions, wells etc) and each specialization (e.g. reaper, soul reaping, blood magic etc) has it’s own tab within the new unlock system. So the same points you use to unlock traits are used to unlock skills. You cannot use the new weapons and utilities without using the new trait lines. However, you can use the new trait lines without using the new weapons and utilities.
