But you can swap out skills and traits for other skills and traits.

Which means $20 would be a great price to sell it at psizone.

Yes, but with specialisations they could add in more traits and skills, add new weapons for classes and possibly completely overhaul the class mechanic and keep it balanced. The ability for them to add new specialisations with new traits and skills could be huge for us, no more “oh, we have to use these 4 builds or we can’t work and that one trait line isn’t useful at all”.

And yeah, $20-$30 is reasonable. The cheaper they make it, the less people will complain, too.

I hope it is $79.00 . I hope it is HUGE and flipping awesome !
I hope it is not $20.00 or less and underwhelming or worse .

I remember getting “the eye of the north” the day it was released . That made me happy . I like getting a good value.

So a bit late to the party here, but I guess a good way of gauging this might be, are we getting a Guild Wars Factions style expansion or an Eye of the North Expansion. This not only gives us a good relative benchmark for size but also pricing. Factions and Nightfall were both, if my memory serves, 50 dollars on release or thereabouts. EOTN was around 30 dollars and required one of the base games.

Eh the term Expansion was tossed around a lot when they came out and was later clarified when they released EOTN if I recall. Again, this was awhile ago, but the original logic of what I was suggesting should still be sound no matter which terminology we are applying here.

Now is game preferentialing paying players, becouse they will have content that non-paying dont have.

Quite major change in game policy.

Its a turning point now.

And people that have GW2 have content that people who didn’t buy and install it don’t. Ok, maybe some people have it thanks to someone else giving it to them, but every account started with someone paying for the game.

It’s not like it’s suddenly a subscription.

Sorry if i missed, but can’t find anywhere. It will be possible to buy the expasion via gemstore? (for ingame currency, like the Digital Deluxe version) Or it will not be avaible at the beginning, maybe later?
